This is a painting that depicts the surface of Callisto, the second-largest moon of Jupiter. I am a bit of a geek, so I am quite an insane obsession with celestial bodies. Copper, silver, and golden metallic leaf were used to finish the painting, and the color of the artwork changes depending on the time of day and light source. Fans of science fiction (like me) and those with a penchant for imaginative dreamscapes will especially enjoy this piece. Art has the power to calm and free the mind, and we all require moments of beauty in our lives.
